I’ve reached ASMR levels of satisfaction just listening to those rotaries and buttons. Not other than that, pretty damn amazing
thanks - great you like it
I've seen woodworkers do this with pencil, but somehow never thought to do it with 3D printing. I'll have to try this.

Where did you get that joystick with button AND rotary encoder. I don't have a project in mind, but I really want it.

Ghost in the shell techno... goood!!!
elma sounds nicer, which one feels better?
@@ThanosVassiliadis very difficult question - if you like the „click“ feel - grayhill - if not elma
If you put a nut on it before cut off, removing the nut will clear the cut debris from the threads, restoring them.
Nice setup, although having tried both, find stationary monitors more reliable and less tiring on the eyes.
@@seattime4075 i agree - my setup is with 3x43 not connected to motion. as qubic has that huge travel and my friend wanted to use it - we decided against - and mounted only 3x32 to the motion rig
@@pwi-studio I have 3 X 50, but if using lots of travel (up to 700mm max 500mm/sec) I tend to now use VR with motion cancellation.
Hi, do you have any post where you indicate how you print polyamide? And with what characteristics of your printer?
i talk about this at facebook, RD or virutalracing forum - but this is done with a MJF printer - a print service done by companies like weerg
Damn thats sexy
How to though??
sry, not sure what you mean
If I paid you could you make me one
Beautiful rig. Can you share pictures of the monitor mounts from behind? I have not added the qs-ch2 simply because I did not want to mount triple screens far enough in front to accommodate the surge motion and I wasn't sure that triples would survive if mounted to the cockpit. Great job!

thanks - took a while to get the cable management done
@@pwi-studioI’m currently adding motion to my rig can you tell me do you get much movement from the screens I see you used the same idea I’m going to use with the sim labs feet to secure the screens and another piece of profile at an angle but does that stop any movement as I want to still be able to use my asus bezel free kit? Any help greatly appreciated
@@Simlife101 without the support elements you mentioned it will not work - i think 32" is the max - but i also saw some setup with 40" - check letsgorace on youtube - he has afik 3x40" on his motion - on this setup - meaning the high speed of the qubic - i am not sure how long the triples will survive - but answering your question - with the support elements - triple are super stable - what you do not see - i added also some brackets to fix the simlab vesa mounts to the alu profile - 2 per scree (std 40x40 alu brackets)
It looks very nice, also what is the material of the mold you cast? The steering wheel looks like mjf printing but I couldn't understand the material of the mold.
Very nice
Hey, I am currently finishing my Porsche steering wheel. Also the steering wheel from the Cup. I'm still not 100% satisfied with my shifters. Where can I find the shifter plate as a .stl file that you also have. Because yours look brilliant!!!
I tried to design them in CAD but they just don't come close to these.

I literally bought the wera ratchet two days ago, because I saw it in your videos. 😅
you will love it
What an amazing work! I truly admire the detail and effort you put in each of your projects. I yesterday saw your M8 GTE video and got shocked by the quality, but I got some doubts I'd like to ask you if it isn't an inconvenience. First, I've seen that you're using rotary switches but, for what you are using them, wouldn't it be easier to use rotary encoders? Or is it a personal preference? And regarding the electronics, I read in your forums that you are using teensy boards as the MCU. That way, can you manage the LEDs through programs like SImHub or are you forced to manage the LEDs only through the code? Th¡anks in advance and hands up for your incredible work!

Hello! What good work you do, Excellent steering wheels. I wanted to ask you a question, where I live I only have 2 brands of rubber, the Smooth On Vytaflex 30 shore A, and the Smooth On PMC 780 with 80 shore A. I saw that in the tutorial Zebbeba uses 60 shore A. Do you think it would work for me? Vytaflex 30 or PMC 780? I wanted to try to make it for my steering wheel but I don't know which one to choose.
i do not know this brand - but maybe 80a is a good joice too

Iniection molding for diy is pretty intense! I guess 3d printed with resin could achieve a similar result?
its a sls print - agree inject mold would be a bit too much
@@pwi-studio oh interesting that the pattern used looks a lot like injection molding that's why! I'm looking at diving in that world of diy steering wheel since i've got both a fdm and a resin printer. The switches are surface mounted and order pre-installed from your pcb supplier i guess?

Hi, i love your designs, can you teel me what buttons and rotary encoders you use?, i tried to find in mouser, but i couldn't find it, thanks
you need to dig into the grayhill, apem, otto, elma specs to find the item matching your project - they have on each item so many variants - and they have to fit your project
@@pwi-studio I'm not started yet, that's why I want to know, I can match the project with the rotary, I love the sound and strength of yours
@@joseantoniosilvaegea6619 all grayhill and elma have the same haptics :-) just check the rotary portfolio - and you will find the desired item 🙂
@@joseantoniosilvaegea6619 honestly thats the wrong approach - grayhill are more or less all the same - some stronger some softer, 8, 10, 12, 16 positions - you need to set a target and select the right rotary - i use in each wheel different ones to meet the project targets.
